The Palme

Club-Discotheque "Palme" - Good music is our speciality.

Already a dance bar in the 1930s, in 1958 it became the "Hängematte" (Hammock), one of the first three student dance clubs in Vienna (along with the "Strohkoffer" and "Atrium"). As the "Schilfhütte" ("Reed Hut") student club from 1964 and in its present incarnation as the "Palme" ("Palm Tree") since 1979, it is still very much en vogue. You can dance the night away here on Fridays, with the Ritmo de la Noche, and Saturdays, with hits of the 70s and 80s, from 10 pm to 4 am. The "Palme" Club-Discotheque is also the ideal venue for private functions such as company parties, book presentations, birthday celebrations and much more. We are happy to accept bookings.
